11 Haziran 2026 tarihinde Meksika’da başlayacak olan FIFA Dünya Kupası öncesinde, makine öğrenimi teknolojisiyle maç sonuçlarını tahmin etmeye yönelik yeni bir çalışma başlatıldı. Proje kapsamında, 1872 yılından günümüze kadar oynanan yaklaşık 49 bin futbol maçının verileri analiz ediliyor. Takımların Elo puanları, geçmiş maç sonuçları ve turnuva konumları gibi kritik verileri içeren veri tabanları kullanılarak olasılıksal tahmin modelleri geliştiriliyor.
