Recep Çetin ve Ayşe Feyza Karakoç, Yapı Tasarım Yarışması 2025 – Kentsel Dönüşüm: Alternatif Arayışlar profesyonel kategorisinde 2. ödülü kazandı. Proje, Moda Caddesi’nde üç bitişik nizam yapıyı hedef alarak, modüler ve sürdürülebilir “Streetcture” yaklaşımıyla kentsel hafızayı korurken sosyal, ekonomik ve çevresel etkileşimi artırmayı amaçlıyor.
Proje kapsamında, mevcut yapı stokuna zarar vermeden modüler birimler eklenerek cephe ve strüktürel iyileştirmeler yapılıyor; zemin kat kolonadları kamusal kullanım için güçlendirilirken, üst katlar farklı yaşam birimlerine dönüştürülüyor. Modüler sistem, esnekliği ve tekrar kullanılabilirliği sayesinde Türkiye’deki benzer kentsel dönüşüm projelerine örnek teşkil ediyor.
